About me

There’s not that much to say, really, but I thought I’d have a page to myself!

I’m Eleanor Patrick. I’ve been writing fiction and fact since I was little, and did it more often after having three children. It sort of kept me sane.

I am currently freelancing as an editor, and also counselling children (my child therapy blog is here). At the same time, I have co-authored two novels for primary age children called Scordril and Farlkris, under the pen name of Kelsey Drake. The Lothian Dragon blog is here. I write bedtime stories for young children here, and am working on lots of other stories for children. Others are addicted to wine, but me, I’m addicted to writing I think…

Ride with Madness started life as my MA novel but I have since altered it significantly and thought I would share it with the world. Any comments are welcome.

This is interesting, when I’m less tired I’ll read more.
I just finished a how to write short story class so I’m devouring everything or so it seems.
    Any suggestions for online novels?

Thanks for stopping by. You might find something else interesting at webfictionguide.com? It’s worth a look, anyway. I did some short story writing too – it’s great fun to sell a few!

    Hi,

I was wondering if you had a public email/contact form I could use to reach you, rather than cluttering up your comments box?

    Hi Stormy
I guess I don’t have one of those! Nor sure why, but comments come through to my private email and it’s okay to put a message here – I can always delete it afterwards if you’d prefer! I look forward to hearing from you.

  6. I have a blog, Online Novels, http://online-novels.blogspot.com/, with the names, descriptions and web addresses of several hundred free novels available on the internet; please let me know if I may include a link to your book, Ride With Madness.

    Thank you.

    Sincerely, Susan Crealock
